HITAP invited Prof. Dr. Suthep and Dr. Kobkoon to help develop policy proposals for the efficiency and financial sustainability of Thailand's universal health coverage.
The Health Intervention and Technology Assessment Program (HITAP), funded by the Health Systems Research Institute (HSRI), runs a research project to improve the efficiency and financial sustainability of Thailand's Universal Coverage Scheme. It invited Prof. Dr. Suthep Suantai and Dr. Kobkoon Janngam to a policy workshop on 8 July 2026.
The workshop looked for the causes of hospitals' financial imbalance, developed recommendations, and discussed how the National Health Security Fund can be managed and allocated more appropriately, fairly and sustainably.
